Android 4.1 Jelly Bean正式公佈: 高速Butter界面, 新型智能助理Google Now, 豐富通知列及更多(引用來源)
Google 在年度發佈會 Google I/O 展示了下個 Android 重大更新 – Android 4.1 Jelly Bean。雖然數字上好像和 4.0 差不遠,但實際上這加上的 “0.1″ 包括了不少重大新功能和產品。 對 Android 用戶來說絕對是值得期待得更新。
1. Project Butter
Android 4.1 使用全新的 Butter 界面,意思並不是界面的樣子和 Android 4.0 完全不同,而是令整個界面速度大大提升的系統。在 Google I/O 的示範中兩部 Galaxy Nexus 並排,一部運行 Android 4.0, 另一部是 4.1。後者的運作暢順程度,以及界面動畫的流暢度明顯比 4.0 大大加強。
2. Google Now
Google Now 是個全新的智能自動系統。可能很多人都會立刻聯想到 Apple 的語音控制系統 Siri,但 Google Now 和 Siri 其實頗為不同。Google Now 目的是自動根據周圍的環境和正在發生的事,在用戶搜尋前主動給找出來。例如自動實時更新用戶最喜歡運動賽果; 監察交通情況然後建議較順暢的道路; 當用戶接近公共交通或餐廳時,提供有關的班次時間或餐廳推介等等。Google Now 提供的資訊可能和 Siri 差不多,但卻是自動以畫面方式顯示,而不是用戶主動查詢以聲音回應。
3. 通知列
Android 的通知列向來都獲各界認為是最佳的通知系統,在 Android 4.1 變得更加豐富。現在的通知列顯示更多資訊,例如 Gmail 通知不只是說有多少未閱讀電郵,更可以預覽部分電郵內容。其他程式的通知亦可以直接進行更多動作而不用進入該程式,例如在通知列 +1 或分享 Google+ 的相片。
4. 語音搜尋
在主頁頂部的語音搜尋列大大加強,除了有語音回應外,搜尋速度亦比以前快得多。因為可以直接在這裡顯示結果,不用跳至瀏覽器。而搜尋結果亦變得更加豐富,除了文字更有圖片。
5. 其他
現在如果想在主頁加入 widgets,在拖放時其他圖示和 widgets 會自動讓開。這樣用戶便不用自己逐個移動來騰出空間,然後再放下新 widget。語音打字現在可以離線進行。相機和相簿程式亦有改善。智能更新讓應用程式更新時不用整個重新下載,只需下載新的內容。
Android 4.1 Jelly Bean 將於 7 月中以 OTA 推出,首先得到的會是 Galaxy Nexus, Motorola Xoom, Nexus S。而第一部運行的就是 Google 新公佈的 Nexus 平板 “Nexus 7″ 了。

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean: Samsung Starts Galaxy S3 update, Planned for 10 More Smartphones
According to an exclusive report from The Verge, the Android Jelly Bean 4.1.1 update for Samsung Galaxy S3 has been started by the manufacturer to roll out, starting from Poland today. earlier reports informed that the update will be available IN October, however it seems to be a great update for the current owners of the handset that the update has started earlier than expected.
Reportedly, the update is being pushed out through Samsung’s KIES software, rather than over the air (OTA) but the update is available in the OTA servers and will be soon available.
However, the good news doesn’t just end here, the same report has also confirmed that besides Galaxy S3, the Korean giant will has also provided the folks over there with a full list of devices that will be upgraded to Jelly Bean.
The list includes ten phones: the Galaxy S2,Galaxy Note, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy S2 LTE, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Ace Plus, Galaxy Mini 2, and Galaxy S Duos and also four tablets including the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Note 10.1; and an unknown device, the Galaxy Music which still holds a mysterious identity.
Samsung begins Galaxy S III Jelly Bean updates, 15 additional models scheduled
In an email from Samsung to The Verge, the company has announced that it's updating its flagship Galaxy S III handset to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, starting today. Poland is the first market to receive the update, which brings Google Now, Project Butter, and other enhancements, but Samsung says Jelly Bean will "gradually" be introduced to other markets soon; how quickly you get it will "vary by market and wireless carriers' requirements." The update will also bring a few Samsung-specific enhancements, including improved 'Pop up play' functionality, a new 'Easy Mode' that offers easy-to-use widgets for favorites and recently-used applications, and a 'blocking mode' that sounds remarkably similar to Apple's 'Do Not Disturb' function.
As well as detailing the update for the Galaxy S III, Samsung also released a full list of devices that will be upgraded to Jelly Bean. The list includes ten phones: the Galaxy S II,Galaxy Note, Galaxy S Advance, Galaxy S II LTE, Galaxy Chat, Galaxy Ace 2, Galaxy Beam, Galaxy Ace Plus, Galaxy Mini 2, and Galaxy S Duos; four tablets: the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, Galaxy Note 10.1; and an unknown device, the Galaxy Music (we've reached out to Samsung to confirm the mystery device's identity). As with the Galaxy S III, the timing of the updates will vary depending on your location and wireless carrier.
